Ali MacGraw
Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model, author, designer as well as an animal rights activist. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 1972 are among her most famous movies. New York was her home and she grew up in a creative environment. Her first job was as a photo assistant. Then she moved on to modelling and acting. MacGraw was noticed in two of her films and was awarded the Golden Globe Award for Most promising newcomer. Her film MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was an enormous success that earned her fame worldwide, as well as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. The film was recognized as the most successful female box-office actress in the globe after just three films. At Grauman's Chinese Theater, in 1972, she got her handprints and signature engraved. The actress has appeared in a variety of other films including The Getaway Convoy Players and television miniseries The Winds of War among many others. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography was published. MacGraw married three people.
