In the 1980s she began her professional career, and was recognized for her role as Siobhan in the soap opera of the day Ryan's Hope between 1982 and 1986. Her role was reprised by its follow-up film Vegas (2022-present). Helgenberger was also known for her character of K.C. She received the Emmy Award in 1990 for Outstanding Supporting actress in the Drama Series to honor her character as Koloski on China Beach, an ABC drama China Beach from 1988 to 1991. She has also appeared in the TV series Under the Dome, Intelligence, and the movies Species (1996) Species II (1998), Erin Brockovich (2000) and Mr. Brooks (2007). Meghan McCain..................Meghan McCain is an American television personality columnist, journalist and author born in Phoenix Arizona and is the daughter of Senator John McCain and Cindy McCain. McCain is the oldest of four kids. McCain graduated from the Phoenix Country Day School as well as Xavier College Preparatory, a private Catholic all-girls school. In 2007, she received a Bachelor's Degree in Art Historical Studies at Columbia University. In 2017 she joined the daytime talk show The View where she co-hosted until 2021 and received 4 Daytime Emmy award nominations for her efforts. Other ventures McCain has been a columnist for the Daily Mail newspaper after her three years at The View. McCain also wrote four books, including The Story of My Dad John McCain (2008) Dirty Sexy Politics (2010) America You Sexy Bitch : A Love Letter to Freedom with Michael Ian Black (2012) as well as Bad Republican (2022).
