Hayley Orrantia, an American performer, songwriter and actress. People are most familiar with the character as Erica Goldberg in the comedy TV series 'The Goldbergs'. However, she's primarily a music lover. According her, is the very first thing she enjoys. She started playing with it at age nine. As she grew to the age of 12 her music began to take an adolescent turn and she began to train professionally. At the age of 13, she started writing her own music. The first album she released as a cover was released fourteen years later. And the rest is history. Orrantia has Hispanic heritage, yet was born in the USA. She is a native of Hispanic roots even if she was only able to speak English when she was a kid and spent her entire life in America. She hopes to protect the culture by writing Spanish songs and taking classes in the language. The singer recorded the Spanish version of a song, titled 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia was a contestant on The X Factor during its inaugural season, which aired in the summer of 2011. Orrantia was the winner of the initial season of The X Factor following the submission of an YouTube performance video. She was awarded four "yes" vote by the judge on the live stage show in Seattle. The first time she was auditioning for soloist, she as well as three female singers were grouped with three other singers for the last auditions in "Hollywood Week". Live shows were staged in the 5th week.
